An Annapolis Valley Restaurant

I’m Lauren Bonner, owner of The Union Street, a full-service restaurant and live music venue, located in Berwick, Nova Scotia. We serve food that’s focused around the incredible bounty of the Annapolis Valley, and are lucky to host some of this country’s best singer-songwriters.

I’ve been a part of the restaurant industry in one capacity, or another, for over 20 years. I fell in love with Union Street first as a customer, then as an employee, and decided very quickly that I wanted to own it. Lucky for me, Meaghan & Jenny Osburn, were looking to pass it along to someone who shared their vision, and I took over in 2016.

Despite more than a few challenges over the past 7 years, I can’t imagine doing anything else. The Union Street is a place for our community to come together.
